I first got interested in magic at the age of 8 when I saw my first magician. He made some little red balls appear in my hand and it gave me such a thrill that I had to know how to do it. I begged my parents to buy me everything that had to do with magic. I performed my first magic show at the age of 9 for a school talent show. Magic took a back seat, but was never out of my life, through my teenage years (girls were more important). I got back into magic during my years in the Navy when I was stationed in Guam. I met a fellow serviceman who was a professional magician and my interest was resparked. I dabbled with it off and on until 1994 when I saw a magic and comedy show at the California State fair. I was again hooked to the max and started spending way too much money on new tricks. My wife told me if I wanted to continue in magic that It had to pay for itself. I practiced till I had a good show then launched my professional career in 1995. I have been perfecting my craft since and I am now considered one of the areas top childrens show performers.
